The Rogue Robotics ATR robot base is a versatile, all-terrain robot construction platform.
Designed with 3D CAD tools and precision laser cut durable aluminum parts powder coated for durability and appearance. The Rogue Blue Robot Base is a superior design for the hobbyist and educators.
The platform can be used with many available "robot brains" and comes with mounting holes for the Rogue OOBoard, Parallax Board of Education.
The motor controller mounts in the drive area, leaving all open space available for expansion. There is space in the drive area for your battery pack or our custom 7.2V NiCad rechargeable battery pack.
Each level has 1/2" cable pass-thru holes with rubber grommet and one large pass-thru hole in the center large enough to pass-thru smaller ribbon cables (16-20 conductors).
You can add other holes to the robot with ease using a standard drill, allowing unlimited mounting possibilities. Gear box mounts and level mounts have tapped holes for easy assembly (no nuts).
The kit includes:
- 1 - Rogue ATR base plate with gear box mounts and risers
- 1 - Rogue ATR second level plate
- 1 - dual gear box with motors
- 1 - track set (orange base color, can be painted)
- 4 - hex standoffs for mounting "robot brain" (4-40 hardware)
This kit does NOT come with a "robot brain".
The base kit is only 2 levels (not 3 levels, as pictured). Third level expansions are available.
